I get obsessed about the weirdest songs.
It seems that some songs that I immediately dislike or find too strange... I wind up liking a whole lot later. Which is just very weird and confusing.

For example, I was freaking out when coldfury wanted us to Rock Band out to "Still Alive" from the the game Portal. But here I am today, listening to it on youtube and LOVING IT.

*Shakes head at herself* I'm a freak. Anyway, for the curious:

Who sings the song originally? I didn't realize different people sang it!

Female (in-game) singer of the song, and as has already been mentioned, voice actress of GladOS: Ellen McLain.

You might be relieved to know that this one is NOT considered a weird song to obsess over. At least, not by gamers.

cureless has the sheet music for this song. She'll play on the piano and we'll both sing it. Because my singing voice leaves a lot to be desired, we were relieved to find that the song is forgiving enough to work as a folk anthem / drinking song. Hooray!

HA.

Yes, I found in Rock Band that it was rather forgiving as well. ^_~

But, yes, good to know that I'm not alone!

As far as wierd songs goes... I once had the last half of the chorus to Belinda Carlisle's 'Leave a Light On' in my head for SIX MONTHS. I mean, I'd wake up in the middle of the night night with the last half a chorus in my head. Whenever I caught in on the radio, I caught the last half of the chorus. It was freaky. I ended up buying the album so I could listen to it to my heart's content.
