Yay for meme that has nothing to do with evil Soc. papers!

Stole this baby from saifai who in turn stole it from someone else. Whoo!

1: Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, find line 4. Write down what it says:

"Footwear has never been shown to be correlated with fertility" (The Gender of Sexuality by Pepper Schwarz and Virginia Rutter.)

2: Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What do you touch first?

The cast picture of apocnowish illustrated by miggy

3: What is the last thing you watched on TV?

... I assume you're talking about on actual TV stations and not using my VCR... Ummmm... Wow, this is sad, I don't even remember because it's been SO. LONG. I THINK it was Teen Titans last weekend. Love that show.

4: WITHOUT LOOKING, guess what time it is:

5: Now look at the clock, what is the actual time?:

12:32 - I'm goooood.

6: With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?:

Aqua. "In the heat of the night, we are having a siesta..."

7: When did you last step outside? what were you doing?

Yesterday. I was leaving [Bad username: gailadora> 's house after using her apartment buildings laundry machine. It's 25 cents cheaper than the schools, you know. 8: Before you came to this website, what did you look at? Well, I stole this from someone else, so I'll change the question to: Before you read LJ, what did you look at? My email. I sent someone a 'Yay, I rock cuz I FINALLY finished my pain in the ass paper!' 9: What are you wearing? All black. I know you're shocked. To be more specific - Cords, a tank top, and combat boots. I'm considering putting my hair up with chop sticks again today, even though yesterday it was nearly lethal. 10: Did you dream last night? Most likely. But since the last dream I recall was seeing my mom dead on the floor with part of her arm chopped off, I'm rather glad I don't remember. 11: When did you last laugh? Last night. I was talking to Coldfury. We have the strangest conversations. 12: What is on the walls of the room you are in?: *Takes a breath* - Pictures of my novel drawn by a friend I no longer possess, some postcards, The Days of Camelot poster, an art picture that I don't recall the name of, anime posters and pics from Sailor Moon, Ranma 1/2, Final Fantasy VII, and Parasite Eve, a Spike calendar, photo of me (and another with <lj user=] and James Marsters, a Pizza Man vs. The Dude poster, a big Spike poster, Sailor moon stickers, that ApocNowish picture, a poster of a panther, a creepy donut with Mr. Potato Man arms, and a chipmunk picture that miggy fears. Heh heh.

13: Seen anything weird lately?:

Sadly no, but it's only 1 pm.

14: What do you think of this quiz?:

*Shrug* It's mindless. I like mindless.

15: What is the last film you saw?:

Gun Shy. Very funny movie. I love you Oliver Platt!

16: If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy first?:

Switzerland! Mwahahahahaha!! ... Okay, maybe not. How 'bout S3 of Angel: The Series?

17: Tell me something about you that I don't know:

I've had five near-death experiences. If I'm a cat, I'll likely be dead by age 30.

18: If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?:

That the US follow in Sweden's footsteps.

19: Do you like to dance?:

I do! Techno is my favorite to dance to. If you get me in a rather good mood, I might dance a box for you.

20: George Bush: is he a power-crazy nutcase or some one who is finally doing something that has needed to be done for years?:

All I can say is, thank the gods that elections are around the corner!

21a: Imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her?: Gates Elizabeth
21b: Imagine your first child is a boy, what do you call him?: Biff! ... Okay, I'm not that mean. Bryan's an all right name.

Just as a note: I want you realize the brief trauma I went through to answer this question because children are EVIL.

22: Would you ever consider living abroad?:

I would LOVE to live in England. Switzerland appeals as well. ... Actually, a lot places in Europe sound mighty fine...

I really tried to get the 50 books read in one year goal... but yeah, 2009 was pretty busy mostly sucking. (Though, yes, some fabulous things did…

  • Poor Dresden

Just finished Turn Coat by Jim Butcher. It took me awhile to finish this, actually. The beginning was a bit slow, but the second half was very well…
