MSN.com had a great ADD article today: http://articles.health.msn.com/id/100109339?GT1=6997

Here's my favorite part:

People with ADHD “may instead be our most creative individuals, our most extraordinary thinkers, our most brilliant inventors and pioneers,” writes Hartmann in his 2003 book The Edison Gene: ADHD and the Gift of the Hunter Child. He posits that the people with ADHD may carry genetically coded abilities that once were, and may still be, necessary for human survival and that contribute richness to the culture.

I do have enough creativity to kill a large boar, so I can't argue the logic there! Heh heh.

Hmm, I think I might have to pick up this book.

My first impulse was to type sperm whale, but I thought that was a tad arrogant, so the second word that came to mind was boar! *Shrug*

... Throw the sperm whale at it!

My creativity is awe-inspiring, isn't it? Well, that, or I should have flunked Psych 101.

Being in pharmacuticals, there are always several magazine articles around. One was about a jazz musician who's adhd would cause his jazz to be more random, and his creativity during those sessions where what made him famous. But when he was taking medication, those random moments in the middle of a set would not happen, so he found he always had to discontinue his medication for days surrounding his gigs :) just goes to show, randomness is GOOD!
