I finished Isle of Woman by Piers Anthony!
I... don't know how I feel about it.
This is largely due to there being some surprisingly creative parts to this book... but there's also parts that made me want to bash my head against a wall.
Also? I think Piers Anthony has wet dreams about 14-year-old girls. A lot.
But yeah, he flung in italic text at the beginning and end of each chapter (and a map) that goes into our history, having a set of characters and their family be the way of understanding that history. Creative yes, but... Oh, I don't know.
Maybe I'm just peeved that the set-up OTP wound up being like Sleepless in Seattle. Gods, I hate that movie. I don't want to watch two hours of two people and their journeys of NOT being around each other. Same thing with this book. *Beat* Though Piers did it better than that crap of a movie did.
Man, I really need to pee... Stupid meeting.
